Dania Salam-King’s greatest passion is working with children, particularly children with Autism. I love learning about the child, their creativity, and observing their sense of wonderment about the world. I want each child to feel joy, appreciated, safe, and accepted for who they are. I chose to practice ABA not to change children with Autism but to help teach them functional, social, and communication skills to be independent while still having Autism.
I have worked as a teacher in Special Education and have experience as a Marriage and Family therapist. I believe growth comes when one works with not only the child, but family, school, community, and other disciplines. My goal is to support, listen to parents, and collaborate on how to best help their child.
